Development of Automobile Tempered High Temperature Glass Ink

Automotive tempered high-temperature glass ink refers to the use of automotive tempered glass around the edge to effectively reduce the UV transmittance, prevent chemical changes in the glue used to bond the glass and the car body, and at the same time shield the conductive silver paste to give the car an aesthetic appearance. Automotive tempered high-temperature glass ink is emerging with the large-scale application of tempered glass in automobiles. It is printed on a glass substrate using screen printing technology, dried at 150 ° C and transferred to a high-temperature tempered glass furnace for hot bending sintering, and finally cooled to obtain tempered glass printed with automotive tempered glass ink.

The automotive tempered glass ink we studied has anti-viscosity when the glass is sintered in hot bending - the ink and the glass mold do not stick during hot bending, and the fully sintered product is soaked in 0.1N sulfuric acid and 80 ° C water bath. Observed from the glass surface after 72 hours, there is no color difference between the sulfuric acid-immersed part and the unimmersed part. At present, domestic automobile manufacturers and automotive glass manufacturers use imported automotive tempered high-temperature glass inks, mainly products from companies such as Fulu and Johnson Matthey in the Netherlands. The current domestic products are not acid-resistant enough and not stick-resistant.

In order to solve the current situation and develop a high-temperature glass ink that can replace imported products that meets the performance requirements, we proceed from the following aspects: 1. Select suitable solvents and resins, determine appropriate ratios, and prepare ink with good volatilization rate. Oil; 2. Select suitable domestic tempered glass pigments, add a certain amount of dispersants, leveling agents, thixotropic agents, etc., to determine a better formula, and prepare automotive tempered glass ink products with good printability, anti-tack, and acid resistance; 3. Discuss the sintering mechanism of tempered glass ink.

Through the research of this subject, the best formula is finally determined: 14 parts of self-made toner, 84 parts of tempered glass black pigment, 1 part of dispersant, 1 part of leveling agent, 0.5 parts of thixotropic agent, the ink has good printing suitability, and has anti-viscosity in the hot bending sintering temperature range of 600-700oC, and determines the sintering process of high temperature glass ink, that is, sintering at 660 ° C for 4min, and the sintered product has good surface effect, acid resistance and gloss.
